Ty Collins Joins Bizly as Head of Marketing

The team at Bizly is thrilled to welcome Ty Collins as our Head of Marketing. Ty has a background in journalism and 15 years of experience in marketing in tech and a variety of other industries. His enduring love of content and innate familiarity with websites drive his strategy and insights.

Most recently, Ty helmed the digital marketing and content arm of Calendly, the popular scheduling tool, and was primarily responsible for the company’s recent large-scale rebrand showcased on Calendly.com.

Prior to Calendly, Ty ran the web operations function at Mailchimp, an indispensable squad at the heart of Mailchimp’s award-winning marketing team.

He’s done his time agency-side too, driving digital strategy for a wide range of brands including: Coca-cola, Home Depot, Hewlett Packard, and YKK Zippers.

Ty lives in Decatur, GA with his wife Andrea and their two children. He has a BA in Journalism from Towson University in Baltimore and a Master’s in Marketing from Georgia State’s Robinson Business School.
